In case you missed the grand opening of the fake Yeezy store in Wenzhou, China here are some pictures to make up for your loss.
By now, you’ve probably heard all about the fake Yeezy store that opened in China. There, you can find all the knockoff Kanye creations in all sorts of unusual colorways. This fake Yeezy store is heaven for soulless people who couldn’t care less about quality nor authenticity. However, we can’t go as far as to call out all people who buy knockoffs. The action of purchasing a high grade replica is no grave crime against humanity, but merely a cry to feel included. Yet at the end of the day, they’re still FAKE.
This could bring you to question… What is real? What is fake? Do I even exist?! Well let’s talk about the several reasons why a Yeezy Boost is so exclusive and what the hype is all about. To do this we’re gonna break it down starting from the outside going in.
First of all, the Yeezy Boost is a high-end, luxury sneaker. Like all luxury street-wear, or any high-end brand name product, you pay the price that comes with it. That’s because (1) you can guarantee the quality you’re getting, (2) it looks amazing on you, and (3) it undeniably gives you a sense of accomplishment.
Most importantly, however, a designer’s hard work went into the creation of that product. From the drawing of the first skeleton design, down to the choice of the material and the color. So when the rapper Kanye West himself sat down to design the ideal shoe and share with the world, and then worked on it from A to Z, you gotta show the man some gratitude.
Second, there’s the fact that Yeezys are made and released in limited quantities. Till this day, every sneakerhead and their mother want to cop a pair. The hype is real, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Regardless of the fact that Kanye wants to make Yeezys more attainable for everyone, the truth remains that they’re still exclusive and the demand for a never worn pair of Yeezys is still high. For a widely sought after shoe to be produced in such a limited amount, this makes it an expensive shoe that resellers and fanatics want badly. The scarcity of a Yeezy makes it more desirable to people especially to those who collect designer items, specifically footwear.
With Yeezy Boost, Kanye West’s designs entered a world where style got smart and advanced. It was no longer just about looking fashionable, nor about comfort or performance, but about bringing together two realms of fashion and technology.
The biggest factor that plays in here is that the Adidas Boost material which goes into every Yeezy. It is scientifically and technologically manufactured by experts at a chemical company in Germany called BASF.
Basically, the Boost material at the sole of every Yeezy is made up of thousands of tiny pebbles of TPU, or thermoplastic polyurethane. The material is shock absorbing and bounces back into shape never losing form and can endure all kinds of temperature fluctuations. That Boost material is used in Adidas shoes like PureBoost and UltraBoost that are made for running. While you might not want to run in your exclusive Yeezys, just imagine the comfort they offer as casual high-end street-wear. You’ll be sporting them on your feet all day long! In addition, it actually even goes beyond the sole, with its breathable highly durable mesh material that fits on your foot perfectly.
With Adidas’ Boost material, Yeezys became the sleekest, most stylish luxury sneaker design that offered more comfort and energy return than any other sneaker out there. Sneakerheads and not, we all crave that bounce in our step when wearing Yeezy Boosts.
Yeezy knockoffs are EVERYWHERE! There are some grade-A replicas out there that can fool even the most skeptical of sneakerheads. So how are you supposed to know if you’re paying for the real deal or not?
First and foremost, if it’s too good of a deal to refuse, you’re probably being scammed. However, that does depend on which Yeezy shoe you’re getting, but the best way to be sure is to compare prices before buying anything from anyone. Also, it can help to check the average resale prices online of the shoe you want to buy.
If you’re buying them online, request clear photographs of the product from every angle. That can help you determine key differences between a real and a fake Yeezy. Some of those differences on the 350s, for example, include pattern, color, middle stitching and the stitching on the heel tab. One nice trick is to count the stitches on the heel tab. Real Yeezys will have 9 stitches across the middle of the heel tab, and 5 on the sewed sides.
Another trick is to check the insoles. First, you want to make sure the Logos on the insoles are in opposite directions. You can even be skeptical enough to ask to see the bottom of the insoles and compare it with that in real Yeezys.
You can also check the bottom of the shoe to see the Boost material. The real Yeezys have three rows of tiny dimple-like circles stamped symmetrically from the bottom, and one dimply stamp on the top. You should be able to count 7 of those in all.
The most foolproof method of knowing if your Yeezy is legit or not is by checking the tag on the inside of the shoe. Make sure that the details on the tag match with the label’s information on its box, especially the PO#. If they’re different, trash that shoe immediately!
Fakes are resembling the real Yeezys so much, that it’s very difficult to tell which is which. However, fakes tend to wear and tear quickly and definitely do not offer that same Boost comfort as genuine Yeezys. We hope this article helped you understand more about the Yeezy Boosts, how to tell real from fake? What makes them so special? And why they’re worth the hype.
But If you think they’re still not worth it, you should check out the FAKE Yeezy Store in China, we won’t tell anyone. And while you’re there go check the impressive “New Burnen” Store next door! So you can fetch yourself a fake Yeezy and a fake “New Balance” all at once!
